We are a site dedicated to finding those Restaurants that provide gluten free meals within a comfortable dining experience.

This website was started based upon the simple belief that following a gluten free diet should not prevent pleasurable dining experiences. 

When I was diagnosed with celiac disease in 2004, being one who loves to cook, I quickly learned ways to modify my home food preparation. I even discovered healthy alternatives for making my favorite foods like fresh-baked muffins and other desserts. Still, going out to eat with family and friends was difficult. Many restaurants didn’t understand the requirements of gluten free food preparation or the consequences of making a mistake with my meal. 

More and more people are discovering that they have celiac disease. As a result many restaurants are becoming educated about gluten free food preparation.  I applaud the restaurants listed on this website for their willingness to accommodate those with celiac disease.  Eating out should not have to be a difficult experience, and these restaurants are showing that it doesn’t have to be.
